Take the course because it can be an exciting job even though it is only 4 months out of the year and you get to learn how the government works when it comes to us paying taxes. There is room for advancement and the higher you advance the more money you and you get to establish your own client base. No one can establish your client base for you. You can start with your family, relatives, friends, coworkers, or even people you don't even know and they will continually return to you each year and you get to add on as you work each year.

The biggest mistake I have ever made is that I processed a return for client and gave him a $10,000 refund and he actually owed $13,000 to the IRS and it was an embarrassment and a hardship to have to tell the client that he had to pay the money back plus more.

My last customer at H&R Block got angry with me because they was expecting a refund but they lost a child because they could not get any Earned Income Credit for that child because of his age and they did not have enough federal taxes deducted from their income, they have a balance due.

My enthusiasm and my willingness to work.

I love helping people. I love seeing the expression on their faces when they know they are getting that refund instead of having to pay in. I love hearing their stories about their families, their babies, their gir/boyfriends. It's just an exciting job.
