For starters let me say that delivering Newspapers isn't for everyone. You best be a morning person, and work 7 days a week with no vacation time. If and when you chose to go on vacation, you better have a sub in place to run your route while you are away. You must also have an excellent running car, and a backup car in your driveway at all times.

Not bagging the newspapers and 10 minutes after you have delivered the last paper, it decides to rain.

I started delivering the Herald Bulletin on foot when I was 10 years old. I graduated to my bicycle, that to a motorcycle, and finally to a car. I have delivered in 3 different states, including Hawaii. I love the early hours, and time to myself. I continue to deliver not only for the paycheck, but I secretly love this job.
