Opportunity and trust were elemental to my time at Hewlett Packard. When a job became repetitive or mundane, I was able to use my experience and contacts to move to a more stimulating and better oriented position. I was a planner, an analyst, a materials expert, and I wanted to return to using my Masters in Science in Education degree. The training department saw my experiences and wanted my education, so that was a terrific lateral move for me. Later on, when they needed someone to visit other HP plants and share the technology and structure we had developed, I was positioned to take advantage of that opportunity, and I definitely enjoyed it.
