Hooper Holmes Portamedic is an exceptional company, and if you are willing to get a phone call asking if you can go do a blood draw because the Phlebotomist cannot get the sample it's showing them you will go the extra mile!

Well we are not all perfect ( speaking for myself) I had a client who was getting ready for weight reduction surgery! So she had to have her blood drawn that day! Out of my career with Hooper Holmes I would say she was the hardest stick I ever had, it was very frustrating for me because I usually never miss but finally got her between her ring finger and her pinky finger! Never been so happy and neither had she! There are sites that you usually shouldn't draw from but if you call your company and the client is in compliance then between the ring finger and the pinky finger it is!

I loved everything about my job with Hooper Holmes Portamedic! Staffing agency was superb. Being able to meet new people or seeing someone I knew was very rewarding.Being on your own in the field either makes you an exceptional phlebotomist or a very petrified one because unlike being in a lab surrounding you only have your skills! There's no one to rely on . So it was a very fulfilling and rewarding job!

There was never a problem with Hooper Holmes they were an exceptional company! My beloved mother had become ill it took 6 months to find out she had stage 5 renal failure and also having dialysis experience we decided to give her peritoneal dialysis which is at home she was too sick to travel to hemodialysis. Between myself and my brother we took care of her upon the day she left to go to hospice her illness was beyond our care. She's with the angels now, I was a private contractor so if I didn't work I didn't make money and you cannot put a price on life.
