So I have lived in Florida for about 1 month now and have had interviews and offers, more so rejections at companies I am qualified to work at. I have had some offers but the pay is so low. I have a 3 month old I’d have to put in day care so it’s just not worth it. I am spending nights and hours applying and not getting many acceptance emails or interviews, this by far is the hardest job search I have had. I love Florida and made the change for my family and back home in Va didn’t like my position so it was time for a change anyways. How long does it take to get a good paying job in Florida these days?

If you have a CDL license, apply at the Postal Service. They start at $21.00 an hour with benefits.

I'm looking for a job that will let me use the company call at least $15 or more I've been putting in applications everyday I've been on my job for 6 years I was making 20 at my job

Hi everyone, Just signed on to this site and have been getting helpful tips from Elyssa. I though I would share my situation with you to see what you think as well.
I'm 58 and have been in Medical Sales about 23 years. This year I finally had a melt down from stress caused by my job and my MD strongly suggested I leave this profession for Health reasons.
I have a degree is in Public Health and prior to Sales was a Hospital Educator in which I taught BLS/CPR, was involve in setting up Health Fairs and also participated in teaching Quality Improvement to the Hospital. I really enjoyed this work but went into Sales for the $$ so I could better take care of my family. That experience is about 25 years old.
After searching for similar roles, I found the majority of Hospitals now hire Nurses to be Hospital Educators. Even if I'm lucky to find a position, how do I include my Hospital Educator experience on my resume when my experience dates back to the early 90's? Unfortunately, age discrimination is real.
Does anyone have some suggestions including some other careers I should consider.
Thank you.

I am interested in the positions described above. My last experience was as a LTC case coordinator; I am certified to fill out the 701B tool, CFARS and FARS. My last rate was $25/hour. My previous experience was focused on in-home psychotherapies; I am looking for a similar duties and income.

Can I drive part time and how much is pay

I'm am trying to find a higher paying job in this field.

Asking 18-22.00 per hour.

Well, I knew it was to good to be true. My team lead kept telling me I was doing a good job but I wasn't selling much. Now I'm laid off due to "lack of productivity". Which i understand, I wasn't selling but to be told I'm doing well and to then get laid off is an odd circumstance. Well here I go finding a new job. I just pray I can stay afloat on my bills.

I just recently split from my wife and I'm really down on my luck. Bills are piling up and I'm having a hard time finding a job that pays enough to keep the lights on. I don't have a college degree and all the jobs I qualify for pay barely minimum wage. I'm getting depressed and don't know what to do. I'm one more late payment away from being tossed on the street.
I came across an ad for an opening at Ryder Trucking that seems to offer decent pay and benefits. Any advice for a guy thinking about becoming a trucker? I'm 43.
