I worked at 2 high schools in HISD, over 13 years. At both, the teachers, counselors, and nurses were very professional, diligent in their duties, and, in general, kind to the students. At both high schools, however, the principals and admin team were no more than a social club of narcissistic vampires. Deception, discouragement, and distraction. I would like to teach at HISD again, but I don't trust the board, nor Hattie Mae, to behave with integrity and decency.

I left HISD on November 31st. 2014. I suffered an injury from a special need student, had surgery, and the school district denied my surgery was due to my injury, trying to calm a student out of control on the bus. He freed himself from his vest and charged at me and I wrestled to get him calmed down.
