I have been without a job for awhile which is surprising because I am an RN. I had never had trouble getting a job before. I had a couple of interviews and was offered a couple of positions but something was always wrong. I finally was hired at the job of my dreams. Thankyou Jesus. I have always believed that he opens doors that no One could close and close doors that no One can open. He knew what was best for me all along.

Last week I was notified that I didn't receive this job I wanted the pay was great would've been more than what I really needed I was a little upset but I didn't give up I kept praying on Friday I went to career link to do my resume over and they were having a job fare that I was unaware of so I wasn't dressed had on slippers but shoes in my car get ready added my name to the list something I didn't want to do and the pay was just enough to pay bills and have some money let over I left with a job orenation was on Monday I start tonight sometimes God will give us what we need and not what we want I'm truly greatful

I was hired at a nice Bakery in a small town where my kids went to school.

After 1 phone interview and 2 in person interview been offered a job

After a month of job searching, I finally got one! It's a new fast food restaurant that opened up in my location, they have a big team, two drive thru windows, a lobby, my favorite places are right next to it so hopefully I don't waste all of my money once I get paid but I am gonna try to save up for my own car. Raising Cane's is the job that I got, that's the only one that called me since I applied all over the place. It has an easy menu, 4 combos, it's just chicken fingers and fries. I'm happy though but I don't get to do what I love, I get paid $11-13 an hour, easy schedule.

Well, after 6 long months, I finally was offered a job!!!! Thank God!!! Getting employed in your 40's is not as easy as you may think, experience doesn't matter as much anymore. For all you job seekers, I would say, keep hanging in there, never give up, the right job for you will come along.

After relentless job searches and putting plenty applications, I had an interview yesterday with Champion Security in New Orleans, and after a long day, I got hired. Can't wait to start next week. I wish every one good luck on their job searches. Don't give up, your job is out there.

I received and accepted an offer Monday, September 25 after a great panel interview last Thursday, September 21st. It has been a long journey after being laid off in January, 2016 ( I have worked 7 months since this date), but things are finally looking up. It is HARD to stay positive and keep the faith when you're in such a dark place! But, stay connected with your support system and network, network, network! You WILL find employment!

I have been unemployed since July 14th. I have had several job interviews. I actually had two interviews for different positions at the same agency last Thursday. I really wanted the second job I interviewed for. The position was for an Employment Specialist position with one of the better agencies in my area. I got a call today and I start Monday. Tomorrow I fill out all the employee paperwork and get my name badge. The amazing thing is that I am 61 years old. This goes to show that it is possible to get a job at any age.
