"Interview Tip"

It is common curtesy write a thank you email to the person who interviewed you within hours after your interview. I believe that those who don't do that jeopardize their chances of being hired.

Do you really want to stand out? Some experts say also sending a written thank you letter will increase your chances of landing the job. The thought is to bring to the interview an already addressed envelope to your Interviewer with a blank paper and a pen. Immediately after the interview write the note and drop it in the mailbox before you go home.

Not many do it but those who do stand out. We are all looking for that extra edge in our job searches. Maybe this could be it. #AWU #disability #interviewtip

"Interview Tip"

How would you answer the question "Why Shouldn't I Hire You?"

“If you are younger, you may want to use inexperience.” This shows honesty and trustworthiness. Additionally, you can follow this up with, “So I am hungry to learn.”

Also, some are using this technique with success. It is out there but it could be a game changer. Print a card that says "If I get asked the question "Why Shouldn't I Hire You with the answer "Sometimes I over-prepare," and hand it to the interviewer. I know, it is out there. What do you think about it? #AWU #disability #interviewtip
