Hiring Manager: ”What are your greatest weaknesses?”
You: 😳
This #interview question is really tough, and you can pretty much guarantee it will show up in one form or another. 😒
It’s hard to talk about your own weaknesses, so don’t wait to think about them and answer on the spot…you will likely stumble through without much grace. Thinking about your weaknesses before your interview will help you answer this question with calm and confidence and in a meaningful way that will leave a great impression on the hiring manager 🙌

Just when you’re starting to settle into the #interview, the hiring team asks you, “Tell us about a time you had conflict in the workplace.” 😳
This one is TOUGH! Here are some tips to consider when answering this question: 👉 Everyone has conflict at work - it doesn’t mean a “fight” necessarily - it can be as simple as a disagreement on how to approach a problem. 👉 Own up to your role in the conflict. No one likes a finger-pointer! 👉 Set the stage clearly as to the background for the issue, what was the disagreement, and ultimately if/how it was resolved. 👉 Be sure to end your answer with lessons learned and what you’d do differently next time!

This #interview question again??! Didn’t you guys look at my resume before I came in? 🙄
This question is guaranteed to come up over and over in job interviews, so its an easy one to prepare for ahead of time!
I get asked all the time: should my answer be business only? Personal? A mix of both? What do I tell them? 🤷♀️
Rule #1: Don’t sit and regurgitate your resume! ❌
You want to be professional, personable, concise, and memorable 🙌 …oh, is that all? 😁 Here are 5 tips to help you nail your answer to this interview question 💫

You know when you get to the end of your #interview and the hiring manager asks you, “Do you have any questions for us?” Do you return that with a blank stare 😳 or a “Thanks so much, I don’t have any questions.”?
Asking questions at the end of a job interview DOES make an impression on the hiring team. It can reflect on your interest and enthusiasm for the position, your thoughtfulness and preparedness, and your willingness to take on new challenges (to name a few!).
So, I recommend always preparing some potential questions you can ask at the end of every job interview 🙌
Before you check out 5 questions I love for the end of an interview, here are some tips: 👉 I don’t necessarily recommend asking ALL 5 of these. Pick 2-3 that resonate with you. 👉 Never ask questions just for the sake of it. Prepare questions that you legitimately want to know the answer to! 👉 Ask questions in your own style and language - you don’t need to memorize these word for word, especially if they wouldn’t feel natural to you. 👉 These questions are particularly suited for professional jobs but could be tailored to many other opportunities, even entry level 👍 👉 Lastly (take heart!), you CAN write your questions down and bring them into the interview room with you. You don’t need to memorize everything you wanted to ask 😁
