Interviewers love to know how you prioritize tasks. Instead of just saying, “I make a to-do list,” explain the process you follow.
You might say, “I start by identifying urgent tasks and breaking larger projects into smaller, more manageable steps. This way, I can stay focused and meet deadlines.” They’ll appreciate hearing a clear, practical approach. #AWU #disability #jobs #interviewtips

Interview Question: what is your greatest professional achievement?
Be careful here. Don't just start talking about a big project you led, or the big client you landed. The achievement you talk about needs to connect back to the job you are applying for. Otherwise it looses it's impact.
Make sure your achievements align with the company’s needs. Show them how what you’ve done will benefit them. Connect your success story to the company’s goals, and that will help you stand out. Good luck! #AWU #disability #jobs #interviewtips

Question! If you are offered the position, how soon can you start?
You may think responding that you can start as soon as possible! Is the correct answer. It may be if you are currently unemployed. However, if you are currently working I think that is a bad response.
Most would agree the correct answer should be two weeks. Why? It shows that you’re loyal to your current team and not someone who just leaves them hanging. That is what most employers would expect. #AWU #disability #jobs #interviewtips

It is commonly observed that only a small percentage of job applicants make it to the interview stage of the hiring process. If you have a job interview scheduled, you are competing with an unknown number of candidates who have already been deemed promising based on their resumes.
Preparing for your job interview is essential and will be more time-consuming than the interview itself. With every job interview, be aware of the four primary qualities hiring managers look for in candidates.
Ability to communicate effectively Being capable of doing the job Being a good fit for the company Being an agreeable person #AWU #disability #jobs #interviewtips

Question!
If you won $10 million, what would you do?
This question is looking to check a couple of things.
Do you have long term thinking in response to situations or do you respond with a knee perk reaction
Are you committed to your profession and therefore an employer or are you the type of person who will job hop.
Are you fiscally responsible.
Are you a caring person.
An example of a response would be:
"The first thing I would do is to take a breath and evaluate what it really means to me. I would pay off all of my debt. I would also pay back my parents for all they did for me. I would donate some to charity. Also, I love what I do so I would keep working." #AWU #disability #jobs #interviewtips
