I studied Criminal Justice and I learned about perpetrators and how some make actions based on their childhood and personal background. I did a project on a serial killer while enrolled in these criminal justices courses. His name was Pedro Alonso Lopez, he raped and killed over 300 little girls between the age of 7-12. He would take their innocence because he was raped and had his innocence taken at the age of 8 and so he thought he would do the same to as many young girls as he could. I believe he was a very disturbed man. Although his background made sense to his action, it was no excuse for what he did. I learned about how things can encourage a criminal to do the act that they have committed.
