My psychotic salon manager, Janine. She was a pitiful excuse for a manager

I would absolutely NOT suggest to work as a stylist at JC Penney's. My wifes grandmother was in the hospital and I left a voicemail on the after hours voicemail. I called the next morning and actually spoke to the Salon manager to tell her that I was on my way in. She acted as if I didn't contact her, asking other stylists, "have you seen or heard from Jen". My salon manager completely stabbed me in the back. I should have known at my interview with her when she told me 7 stylist quit when she started that it was a huge red flag, but I needed to work. I had to refuse color services because we had next to no color. I had to refuse highlights because we had no foil. The salon manager was calling in constantly and never made sure that we had everything necessary to perform services. Now, I am having the hardest time getting hired at a new salon because of being fired at JC Penney's. Ruined my career!
