When do you feel the most productive in a day? How do you usually capitalize your prime time?
- ❤️I’m a morning person
- 💯I’m most productive in the afternoon
- 👏I’m a night owl and that’s when I get all my work done
I’m definitely a morning person so I usually put the task I dread the most in the morning to get them out of the way. That way I can spend the rest of my day doing fun projects and checking off the rest of my to-do list!

Happy Monday! How do you pass the time on your commute to work?
- 💖 People watching
- 💯 Reading a book

It is FriYAY, everyone! I hope you're just as excited as I am. I was thinking this morning about how long it takes to get a job from the moment you submit the application, to hopefully an offer. In this thought, I was reminded of a company I worked for where it took 7 informal and formal interviews from application to offer. Sounds a bit much, doesn't it? How about you? How many interviews has it taken before you're gotten the job? Phone interviews with recruiters count!
- 💖 1 interview
- 💯 2-3 interviews
- 👏🏽 4 or more interviews

3 or 4

Only 1 for me

Happy Monday! I was once asked during an interview, what motivates me to wake up every morning and make it to work. I remember saying it was the job I did that got me excited. What about you?
- 💖 The actual job, I like what I do
- 💯 The people I work with
- 👏🏽 The bills I have to pay ever month

Knowing that me helping someone will make a difference… It’s easy to go to work when you Love what you do and receive their treatment knowing that you may have just made someone’s day is what day is it from me

Coworkers, the job at hand, and income.

Sometimes finding out you are the highest paid employee can boost your confidence. Other times everyone finding out what each gets paid might cause discomfort. What side you on?
- 💖 Transparency is best, if somebody asks I'll tell them
- 💯 I don't discuss my financial situation with coworkers
- 👏🏽 I ask what everybody gets paid, as soon as I start

We all have heard that when it comes to getting a job, it's who you know not what you know. But, are there any other true and tried strategies you've used that have landed you the job? React below and share more about your experience in the comments!
- 💖 Someone I know works at the company
- 💯 Good old, showing up and asking to meet the manager
- 👏🏽 Only applied for jobs I had experience
- 🤔 Attended a bunch of job fairs

I only applied to jobs that my skills actually useful/important. I got to interviews more often than not. Lesson I learned, sometime a job opened because someone created a big mess and the person handling it left. If you get the job, you will own that mess. Ask the right questions at the interview. Something like: what is the biggest project/task the position currently have on the plate. If from day one you have to climb out of a deep hole somebody else created, you might not want to take that job. Unless of course if you have tall enough ladder (skills/budget) or a team/colleagues to back you up.

In my successful interviews. I never approached them as an employer but as a potential customer. I got them to talk about there problems and how I could solve them. I never put pressure on them to hire me as an employee but pushed that I was available to work on their problem.

I love reading lots of great job search and work advice about putting yourself first. Seems like there are lots of different ways to approach it. How do you usually prioritize yourself?
- 💯Know where to draw the line and say no when necessary
- 👏Know when to ask for help so you’re not carrying all the weight on your shoulders
- ❤️Carve out me time and know when to take a break before burning out
- 🤔Know what your triggers are and communicate your work styles in advance

Establish Time Outs for yourself. Whatever the venue may be, stop and look around without the phone in your hand once in a while, before life passes you by...

I work in the oil fields of west texas, I work a 14days on and 7 days off schedule, i am away from home during that time, I know a lot of people that work in there days off, and they burn out quickly, my work days are 12 to 14 hr days, of course being away from home, my days consist of work and hotel room, those days I give to my employer. My days off are my days and I don’t even think about work and don’t except calls from work or really even personal calls from my friends at work, those days are for my and my family.

This is a tough one for a lot of workers. I've heard many job seekers find it hard to fill in the reference request for new jobs, when the best references they have are those they currently work with. People are afraid to count on current employers to provide a reference, because they don't want to loose their job while looking for another one, right?
So, who do you use as your references?
- 💖 Current coworkers
- 💯 Past coworkers
- 👏🏽 Friends and family
- 🤔 People I volunteer with

Friends and family

Great question, as with any thing you have to just roll with the punches & have an open mind, that the people you picked to give you personal references, well from prior experiences you got to have faith & believe that they aren't going to sabotage your chances, guess you'll find out soon!

I read an article recently that many people are currently looking for a second job, just to help them pay for the increasing costs of gas and groceries. This is because one job is no longer enough!

I have a full-time and a part-time job.

Hi Rochelly,
I have a part-time gig, but am in search for a full-time job! I have always worked multiple jobs at one time, but I'm burned out, I just want to find a job that I can cover all of my expenses and be able to grow within a company.
I smoke one.
