We are seeking a hands-on Building Maintenance Supervisor for our manufacturing client, located near Hartford, VT.
Responsible for ensuring all building and grounds maintenance and repairs are completed and kept to local building codes and safety standards. Performing routine building maintenance (e.g., painting, changing filters, and replacing light bulbs; inspecting fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, and eye wash stations). Responsible for ensuring lawn and snow maintenance is done properly.
Primary contact for all HVAC and grounds work needs including working with subcontractors as necessary. 24/7 shared responsibility for emergency service calls. Oversight of facility cleaning company.
Must have experience and knowledge of building maintenance and HVAC and be able to identify and troubleshoot problems before they become major issues. Must be able to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED, at least three years’ experience in building maintenance, a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle and the ability to work occasional work in evenings or weekends. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsible for design and documentation for assembly, test and manufacturability of assigned products using 2D and 3D modeling software. Hold design review meetings; improve production processes, develop and maintain design and prototype schedules. Focus on quality, continuous improvement and cost reduction. Interface with engineering, production, sales and marketing.
Must have experience with manufacturing techniques and procedures; aptitude in electronic production processes and the ability to work on a variety of tasks as needed. Must have strong SolidWorks, communication, organizational, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills. Familiarity with and ability to use CNC, hand and machine tools is required. Able to design for, and operate, 3D printers. Knowledge of lean manufacturing is a plus.
BS in Engineering and a minimum of three years related experience including SolidWorks mechanical design skills or combination of education and experience is required.
