We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our dynamic, growing client, located near Merrimack, NH.
Responsible for design and documentation for ideal assembly, test and manufacturability of assigned products using 2D and 3D modeling software. Hold design review meetings; improve production processes, develop and maintain design and prototype schedules. Focus on quality, continuous improvement and cost reduction. Interface with engineering, production, sales and marketing.
Must have experience with manufacturing techniques and procedures; aptitude in electronic production processes and the ability to work on a variety of tasks as needed. Must have strong SolidWorks, communication, organizational, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills. Familiarity with and ability to use CNC, hand and machine tools is required. Able to design for, and operate, 3D printers. Knowledge of lean manufacturing is a plus.

Using structural design software, responsible for performing calculations, analyzing aluminum extrusions and steel fasteners and determining their structural capacity for a wide variety of interesting and challenging projects. Provide technical support to various departments within the company to assist with bidding, design, product selection and customer satisfaction. Assist in product testing and provide structural calculations for projects.
Must have experience with CAD and structural design software (e.g., RISA); an understanding and familiarity with IBC code requirements, weld, anchor and fastener calculations in fenestration, solar gain and heat conduction. Experience with windows, composites, storefronts or sandwich panels is a plus. Must have solid communication skills. Some travel is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and specific work experience in steel and aluminum design is required. PE license or EIT with the ability to become licensed is required.
