You would not believe the number of job posts that confuse me. "Experience in area preferred but not required, will train." Then lower "Experience: 1 year REQUIRED"

WT?

Or "Bachelor degree preferred" and then lower "Bachelor REQUIRED"

Do they read these before they post them? Do I listen to the first text or the last text? I feel like Sarah at the door knockers in Labyrinth. One of us always lies, and one of us always tells the truth...

Do I apply or don't I?

How should I handle being interviewed for a position and later finding out that the wrong job description was posted online. I was later sent the original job description (which turns out to be the one being used) but they differ in many ways. I was interviewed by 5 people without being told I was meeting for a group interview (I assumed I was meeting with HR) and then to find out afterwards that I had the wrong information for the interview. I contacted HR because I had questions about certain things which were mentioned during the interview which were not listed in job description. I have never been in this position before and I don't know the best way to approach this. What should I do?

Hi Austin: Thanks for posting to Jobcase! Is there a specific job role you'd like to do with the company? I think your best bet might be to see what they're hiring for, then view those job descriptions. That can give you the best idea of what kind of work they're hiring for. Hope this helps!

Hi Cynthia: Thanks for posting to Jobcase! The best way to see what positions they're hiring for is to click the Coca-Cola text in your post to be taken to their company page. From there, click the Apply button to see all the available jobs in your area. Hope this helps!

Hi Leah, I was trying to find a phone number for them to call and find out what positions they have available, but couldn't find anything. I would suggest stopping by the location to check on that. Hope this helps.

Hi Iragene, Usually pay doesn't come up until at least the interview process, but usually at the job offer. You can find out about the hours for available positions they have, however, by giving them a call. Here is their phone number: (901) 786-1412 Good luck and let us know how things go!
