Why can’t people that send you job links take into account your LOCATION before sending you information on a potential job?? I know that they have the best intentions. Please stop wasting everyone’s time by sending me jobs all across the country , but never anything where I live. Thank you for listening to my rant. Have a good day and good luck everyone.

This website was advertising jobs with Pepsi. Where are they?

Why does the job case site even exists? It appears to drive seasoned employees to entry level and delivery positions. This site aids to the strife of being unemployed...

I've been unemployed for 5 months. I sign up for all the job search engines and they send me daily emails with jobs "that fit my resume". The ones that actually fit I apply for with no response whatsoever. The jobs that have nothing to do with my experience (namely insurance or marketing companies) send me interview requests "based off of finding my resume". It's annoying! (Sorry, just needed to vent)

When you come across a job listing online it can provide a ton of information and sometimes be a bit overwhelming. Despite how tempted we might be to skim through the listing, it is important to take your time and read through each portion carefully.
Let’s break down the sections and find out what they mean and also why they are important!
-Job Title This is the name of the position you will hold at that company. Although it sounds obvious the title can have different meanings across different industries and companies, so be sure you do a little research if you are unsure. For example, editorial assistant and assistant editor may sound similar but are two different positions. Examine the job title closely for clues about the required experience in this position, the level of responsibility involved, the salary, and the nature of the work.
-Qualifications Also called requirements or experience, this section of a job description tells you the type of accomplishments the employer expects you to have. You may see things here like high school graduate or prior experience in… It's definitely not a deal-breaker if you do not have all of the qualifications listed, but the more you do possess the better the chances of landing the job.
-Responsibilities This is what you would be expected to do at the job on a day to day basis. Take a close look and decide if would you enjoy this type of work. Some job postings will occasionally phrase the responsibilities in odd terms, but if some things don't seem familiar, that's doesn't necessarily mean you shouldn't apply. However, if you're completely unfamiliar with ALL the responsibilities, it could be a sign this isn't the best position for you.
-Benefits and Pay While hourly salaries are often plainly stated, some companies tend to be a bit shy about sharing salaried positions. You may see phrases like "salary commensurate with experience" or "competitive salary" which do not reveal too much. When in doubt do some online searching if it isn’t directly stated to see if you can find out more info, or consider asking the recruiter what the position currently pays.
-About Us Most job postings will provide a little background info on the company, but you can also find even more info on the company’s website. Have this be your starting point in researching the company, and understanding its culture and values. This will certainly come up during the interview and will come in extra handy when they ask you why you want to work for them. You will also want to make sure this job is a place you want to be. If you don’t like what the company stands for you may want to move on.
By reviewing a job listing more closely you will be able to better determine if this is the job for you as well as learn a bit more about the role!
Remember if the job listing leaves you scratching your head don’t be afraid to do a little more research.
Good luck with your job search! : )
Please feel free to comment with any questions you have!

I want to thank the people on here that have sent me job leads. I would like to ask for people to stop sending me Pharmacy intern or Pharmacy Technician listings. I am a pharmacist and there is a big difference in pay. If I could make ends meet with Pharmacy tech wages I would probably just research another industry altogether. This is not a slam on techs. They are underpaid for all the work they do and are a huge help to pharmacists.

I have been struggling to make the distinction between the two roles other than my spiritual aspirational post and just giving Jobcasers uplifting advice, as to how not be discouraged by potential job searches and outcomes.
The remote positions; please note the company names are directly under the position. Please google the company and follow the protocol on the website for applying.
On the other hand, there is some post that I make that I am assisting in recruiting for those companies. They will typically always have a "JOB CODE or JOB NUMBER" attached to the post. These particular positions are one that I not only post for those interested in the position, and therefore request they send me their resume and cover letter directly to my email to begin the stages of submittal.
You will also find that those positions I am offering a Finder's Fee for referral candidates as well and this commissioned amount applies if the candidate is "Hired", and fulfills their 90-day probationary period.
In addition, I have now been able to collect a list of companies offering "Sponsorship" as in H1Visa's. This list has not be released as of yet on Jobcase, but will very soon be. Presently, I am just sending it to those who have contacted me in the past concerning employment.
Thank you All, and To All Success!

I hope my over 200 likes on valid work related or life topics haven't offended anyone. My goal was to draw attention to the plight we all share. The social, political and sometimes irrational state of a workers world while looking for hope, advice or even a good laugh. I keep receiving alerts for jobs I didn't express any interest in,on this site and I have asked for serious responses only. I know the people who started this site didn't intend this.Again I ask whoever is wasting my time and theirs, just do your job and what is asked of you. That right there should be more than you can handle per day.
