Okay, well it's happened again. I've been SCAMMED. It came to me as a Western Union email asking me to update my info...click here...and it took you to WU's home page, where there were several lines for data. Name, address, contact ph, and verification that the debit card is still active. The one that showed was a stolen card from July/Aug last year when I was robbed a couple of times at the homeless shelter in SLC. So of course I entered my new number with billing zip code. That was two weeks ago, and today my checking acct is overdrawn. The current card has been cancelled, and I'll let my creditors learn of the new number when it arrives in the mail. BUT BEWARE. This one is sophisticated. Respectfully, Philip M Brockman

SCAM/FRAUD!!!!! Keisha, I am so glad I signed in to my account today. I was hired via Zip Recruiter by a guy named Lizzy Brandon. We have been in contact via email and text over the last three weeks. He stated we would meet face to face, show me the new office when he got back in town. I immediately started to question my self, but because it was through Zip Recruiter I put the idea out of my head. Friday April 17, 2017 he contacted me saying he had sent an email I didn't respond to, so I opened it and he stated I should be receiving a check to buy supplies, that would be needed for his new office location. But over the weekend he started asking several times a day if I had received it, I answered no Monday came and it still had not arrived. Just so happened it had been damaged in deliver so it was late no big deal. I let him know that I had received and would deposit and let him know when it cleared. School vacation just so happened to be this week, I had taken a day off to spend with family. So I got my computer out and looked the bank up, it did assist and was with the BBB. So I called to see if the check was good and funds available. The bank representative asked the information on the check as it was a cashier's check. It felt just like regular paper no information except for bank information It came from Jake Smith and was for $4,811.00 I was to take my first week of pay out of this. The bank representative told me it was a fraud that the check number did not exist. So I asked about he bank branch it was correct, but the person who sent it was not. I am heading to the police station, informing the BBB, Attorney General, Zip Recruiter. As long as no one reports things of this nation it will continue, the public need to be aware.

Raymond Boyd contacted me about a work from home position for Woolworths. Do not fall for this. He requested an online interview through Google hangouts. I thought it odd but decided to check it out. I sat and talked "interviewed" for 2 hours and started getting suspicious when he was dodging questions. While he went on telling his lies I did more research and found him to be nothing more than a scammer. I called him out on this and he had nothing to say. Be warned if you get a message from him or anyone offering a work from home job that will "hire" you with an online interview through Google hangouts. He is now blowing up my phone. Be warned

I"m looking for a job, like a lot of people out there, I am doing everything I can to find one. Please, please, please stay away from ZipRecruiter if you can! My experience with this site has been nothing but spam and scammers trying to get money that I currently don't have. I removed my entire account from the site, and I am still getting strange calls that are not local to my residence, G-mail, and texts from numbers out of state. Perhaps that place is perfect for the employer, but it is horrible for job hunters and does not seem to be regulated very well. I think you have a very slim chance of finding a job on there from personal experience. I don't like talking badly about businesses, but someone who REALLY NEEDS A JOB does not need to waste their time, as time is a luxury that they may not have since they have bills, families, and need to find a way towards making money as quickly as possible.

Damn guys let me tell you about something. Work from home job scam JUST HAPPENED TO me ! Im a Software technician and Ive been telecommuting for about 6 years now. I just recently lost my job and so am in the market. They found me off one of these sites where I made my resume 'public' They said they worked for a major business and due to overhead needed to hire telecommuters. After a two day interview over the live chats, which seemed coherent enough, they said I was the right fit for the position. An admin and customer support spot for a large pharmaceutical company. Then sent me a- overnight paid for- fed ex package with a check inside. This check was for over $3000 and I will be honest with you all, I need the funds bad right now... Im LIKE wtf ?! I just received an eviction notice for my apartment and I am a single mother with two kids and a dog.
I called the banks name on this check they sent which they claimed was for "materials needed for work" ( but was really a Chinese based website for laundering USD moneys. . lol ) and they said it was fake. surprise SURPRISE, No such cashiers check number found.

Thats right folks, NO such number. No such Zone. They Presley'ed me good , cept for the one saving grace, I of course, I did NOT deposit that check. Dont do it. I reported them, It should be over for them. IC3 Baby thats what they do

This is from a Facebook group I am in for people looking for Work At Home jobs....

Be careful everyone! I work for a bank currently (I am trying to get a work from home job). Our security department sent out an email that says: "Fraudulent Summit Credit Union cashier’s checks are in rotation and signed by Deborah Rainer/Reiner. The scam targets individuals who applied for work from home jobs online. Once they apply, they are mailed an employment package and this package includes the fraudulent check." I just want everyone to be careful and not get scammed!

At least now you have an idea of one check you'll receive. No idea what the company is....

For you kind people who have been out of work for awhile beware of job scammers. I was a victim and it cost me huge. I would like to hear from any of you who have gone through the same thing.

Everyone needs to read the email below. It is a fake job offer from a scammer on ZipRecruiter dated 4/04/17. THIS IS WHAT WE ALL NEED TO BE AWARE OF.
