The biggest mistake I made was hiring a customer that just moved down from Chicago. She said she was retired and just wanted something to do a couple days a week. I hired her. It turned out that She was a 2 time lottery winner. She got all cozy with the owner (which turned out to be 100% owned by his wife). He filed for divorce and wanted the restaurant. The lady gave him the money to buy it and got rid of me so she could have control.
