I hired my younger sister to help train her in the dental trade. She delivered to all my accounts. One Monday after a wild weekend she didn't show up or even call. I told her after I finally tracked her down that the least she could do was call me, as any other employer would expect. She told me to ( well you can guess where this is going ) myself and then the next day made anonymous calls to all my accounts and left messages on their phones that " She was a concerned citizen that just wanted to let them know that I had AIDS ( which I didn't), and they shouldn't send work to me. ( This was 1991 and Kimberly Bergalis, the girl they presumed contracted HIV from her dentist six yrs prior had just passed away.) Moral of story - just like selling cars or lending money, or in this case hiring -NEVER within family. RARELY ends well!
