While working for Key Custom Homes I had free range of artistic license within clients design parameters. Overall planning made my job easier. Being an hourly trim crew for the builder enabled us to enter houses during the frame stage and prep for upcoming issues that we might encounter. Some examples but not limited to include, blocking for beams, measuring and laying out on sight custom cabinet trim features, and ordering any special stair components. Many times the clients had binders with pictures and features that they liked. I was able to take this hodgepodge of ideas and transform them into cohesive architectural designs.
