Last Kroger:

  • One Manager: You said I am mean?
  • Me: No
  • One Manager: You said he is nice.
  • Another Manager: I'm the mean one.

Work hard. It is a lot of heavy-lifting but it is worth it. It is actually a great workout.

I loved working with my department managers and the co-workers. I love being busy 24/7.

I know I do. Working at Kroger isn’t very demanding and usually the customers can be pretty alright. I really enjoy operating the deli slicer and talking to people. My only real complaint is how there aren’t enough people on my team so sometimes there are too much work for too little people. It also means I don’t get a lot of time off but at the same time I get to go home knowing I kicked ass and did a great job that day.

I like working for Kroger. The hours are good and they let me be home with my son. It's a busy store so the days go by fast.

I think that #Kroger should continue to help feed the hungry

I think Kroger has lost its way. It reminds me of Sears in the 70’s and 80’s. The CEO, who makes 12 million, 436 times the average employee salary is now reviewing every low paying job posting in an effort to save money. I fail to understand how that saves money. I think another round of layoffs is near by the way they are acting. Just my opinion. There is also a hiring freeze except for the stores.
