I just lost my job after being with this company for 9 years over something they believed was not true and I have proof but it didn't matter cuz in North Carolina is a at-will state they can fire you for anything I have put in applications everywhere I finally went through a temp agency and got hired at a manufacturing company which I haven't done that type of work n over 25 years but after 90 days the company if they like you they will hire you and it's a substantial raise and great benefits so I will try and stick it out

So yesterday I was called into the office my last 15 minutes of work for them to tell me that they had to let me go because my position was no longer needed. I was hurt and crushed. But I feel that with one door closing, another will open. Staying Positive, I need to find a job asap in Shipping and Receiving and or Inventory

I was place on LOA by my employer due to me having an asthma attack at work and my blood pressure was up on February 14. This is not my first time having an asthma attack while at work No, I do not have high blood pressure! No, I wasn’t sent home because I got sick.I put in some PTO due to I was having a bad headache that been lingering since I had that asthma attack that morning. Went to HR to get an accommodation form that management is aware that I cannot work in the dock area due to my health. After he printed up the paperwork to give to my doctors, he stated I couldn’t return back to until February 21. Ok, return back to work and only worked two days for that week. Receive a phone call from the company accommodaton case manager who have my case on my off day. She told me the senior ops manager denial my claim due to what both of my doctors stated. She place me on a thirty day leave until they can find a position for me. I was find in the position I was in, but when they move me to a different department because they have to many people at work. The work is hard and heavy manual labor. It effect my health, and I have other heath issues beside asthma. When I told the manager in my department and their assistant that I’m not able to work in the dock area because it make me ill. The manager told me to put an accommodation on file that they can be aware. Since I didn’t have one, I have to work in the dock area. Now I ask for accommodation, they deny me and I don’t have no income coming in. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. I know it time to start looking for another job ASAP!

My position just got eliminated after 17 years of working with this company Although I may not have a high school diploma I’ve worked in the healthcare industry 27 years from nursing assistant,to admissions assistant to care Management Assistant I’m Am intelligent and learn fast right now I’m just feeling lost because I feel that companies are not going to give me a chance to show my skills because of not having a diploma I’ve worked hard to get these positions and showed them that I can do the job. So I’m just asking if you read this just give me a chance to prove that I’m the lady for the job thank you.

I became unemployed the last day of December. My company let 8 people go, the reason was lack of work. I found a great job in days. Before the week was over I had another job. The CFO who I reported to quit. A week later I was let go from the job. The company was insolvent and could not pay their bills. They were shut down. A few weeks later I found another job, not a good one, but it would pay the bills. It was a co being ran from his house A small co, but very reputable. I worked one day, and received a call from the owner the following morning and he said, he felt that I should be making less, and apologized for wasting my time. He told me that he could not afford to pay me. I'm beginnging to think I'm bad luck. I have a mortgage and kids to feed. I'm seriously frustrated. Why do employers do this.

I'm in Dyer need. My company was bought out and I was one of the ones at top. I worked very hard to become warehouse manager. And now I don't know how I'm even gonna pay rent. I am loyal, hard working and above your average everyday worker. I can learn anything!

I worked for a large financial institution for TEN YEARS and at 59 was discarded like last night's trash and the best part the unemployment office said I was denied unemployment for misconduct, I guess no one ever ever makes the mistake of trusting a fellow co worker and I did and I'm out . Ten years and nothing to show for it but a 10 year paper weight.
