I was recently let go from a company with no notice and I was there for almost 10 years. I started off just scanning then worked my way up to be a supervisor. It’s been tough considering I thought I would die there.

I have been without work for 8 months now. The company decided to lay me off after 17 years to send the work load over seas. Time is running out real quick for me as the severance they gave me is running low.

Really needing motivation; Been with successful company for 5 years; now without work due to company lay off... Been going on interviews since, but it feels like each position I apply and interview for (and a GREAT fit) it seems like nobody wants to hire me. Keep in mind I helped open the doors at our site and went through several different MIT programs which were all successfully completed... I just need to know what I need to do and HOW... ANY advice or support is GREATLY appreciated

So after 2 and a half years apprenticeship for plumbing my company laid me off due to lack of work. My dilema is I feel it had more to do with my gender as I was the only in field female working for the company and had the most seniority of all the other apprentices. Another thing that gets me is a week after my termination due to lack of business my company hired a new MAN in. Any advise guys i feel like this was gender discrimination or something any thoughts guys?

I really need help. I was laid off last year after 15 years. My previous job I was at for 11 years. I have applied for over 3,000 jobs. I have been on only two interviews with placement agencies. I am desperately in need of a job. I have 26 years of AP experience. I don't understand what is going on. I reallly just want to work. What can I do?

I recently was laid off from a job I had for nearly 8 months. I work for a Temp Labor provider here in Delaware so there were no benefits offered by the construction company I was contracted to. I am very good at re-finishing and repairing furniture so my question is what do I need to do (legally) to have my own business?

I recently was let go from my job after going to HR because my new sup was yelling at me in front of people calling me names and threatening to have me fired. I went to my manager and even HR after she left a write up in the open on my desk for others to see. No one did anything and after she fired me for no real reason, the mistake wasnt even mine it was the person covering my desk, she leave a threatening voicemail threatening to hold up my unemployment if I didnt answer her nasty text messges. Do I have cause to sue the company for hostile workplace?

Hired, asked to make new job only priority, jumped in with 2 feet with zero training and after only a week was told someone who was hired after me, the company couldn't afford us both so I would have to be let go. #unprofessional
