they were very unsympathetic to family emergency’s & death. They fired a lot of people during a pandemic for petty reasons.

I was proud to work for #Lifetouch/prestigeschooldivision because

Graduated in 2009...and then took a few photography classes. In 2010 I saw a opening for a photographer job with Lifetouch school division. I went through a storm and almost turned around. I Prayed if I was to keep going please part the cars so I felt safe driving. No cars next to me and 1/4 mile ahead of me and 1/4 mile behind me the cars parted. I Turned the wrong way once and then I drove right up to the building and the rain stopped. The Door open by mr bill and I walked right in. Here was 50 or more photographers there looking for a job. Nervous and knee o was not going to be hired. I stayed and talked to the bosses. My customer service is how I was hired. I had Cut hair for 30 years before I went to college. I had alot to learn and I did in time learn it. Events, sports, casuals, senior pictures, proms, homecomings, graduation walk, outside pictures are my favorite! People that I can make feel beautiful is my ultimate goal for every student that stood before me. Now I personally do small weddings & baby pictures. Working on a website that will show my images to get the word out about my business.

The biggest mistake I made as a #Photographer/lead/manager at #Lifetouch/prestigeschooldivision ...

Not taking time off when my husband died. I made myself sick pushing through it. Everyone needs to have time to grieve. I just did not want to think. I have taken the time now and it was so needed. New home and new life. I am Healthier for it. Thankful for a great support group who has prayed for me. I know God has held me!

A #stressful #Lifetouch/prestigeschooldivision day

Smyrna studio roof starts leaking right over the computer, camera and senior caps and gowns. The growns flood where we take pictures. So I grab umbrellas (cover the Carmera) and go to the porch and covered bridge and have fun in the rain! Keep rain coat at all times. Plastic gallon bag and rubber bands to cover camera and Cover light with too. Upbeat personality at all times! A must! The parents was worried till they saw how much fun rain could be! The smiles on the students faces was great!

A #stressful #Lifetouch/prestigeschooldivision day

When a student after she finished her senior session came outside to find me and gives me a great big hug. Then she says I made them feel beautiful for the first time in their life. Another student who was in college at the time (never had senior pitches because she was bullied all thur school and just happen to come to me for her pictures at Lifetouch. We had a Great time taking her pictures and laughing. God clear my day with rain. It was a outside studio. She wore her grandmother’s dress and pearls which she was beautiful in and the flapper outfit was great. We had a great day. Her and her mother cried when they saw her pictures and the young lady said it was the first time in her life she felt and saw how beautiful she was. I cried with them. That makes all the hours worth it! So important to get that image that makes that student feel proud of their pictures.

What I loved working at #Lifetouch/prestigeschooldivision

We were a team and the core crew had each other’s back. Making memories to be seen was presious. If a child died Lifetouch gave the pictures taken to the Family. Smile safe cards were if a child was lost parent or police could call and the picture would be sent out quick for amber alert. Was my understanding.
