Pre-Trip Inspection
It’s very important that you conduct a pre and post trip inspection before and after your shift. This is not only a safety concern, it’s a DOT regulation. I see truck drivers break down all the time and that’s mainly because they aren’t doing their inspections.
If you’re considering getting your CDL, I highly recommend to watch these videos because they will ask you at the DMV to conduct an inspection. The DMV will ask you for a really detailed inspection which a trucking school will train you to do.

I apply as a maintenance apprentice, no school. I always believed that practical experience will always be the best.way to learn, of course if you are very interested on what you really want. If you heave not a clear intention on what you want then is not going to happen. Meaning you will no achieve what you intent.
