I had an interview with Macy's today for sales associate. I was hired on the spot and they scheduled me for training the following day. Does that mean I'm hired. Does the Sales Associate Position require a background check? If so, is that done at training or...

First off the job fair wasn't even at Macy's they say go to JCPenney then I see someone over by the old tilt and kilt and then they proceed to tell me that it doesn't start until nine this is ridiculous terrible communication skills if you see open at eight till four then do 8 to 4

Is there someone here that works/has worked at Macy's? They will only consider people who have been referred by someone.
Thanks to all for taking the time to read the above. Many thanks!

So many things I loved about working at Macy's but the number one thing I loved was my team from the men's department . we all worked so well together and always helped one another.

My interview in macys was great. My supervisor was Mr Scott. He was a lively man. From my observation of him, he was an experienced man.

The constant change of merchandise was inspiring. The customers loved the quality. The MACY image was of a professional workforce.

Being in charge of your schedule

I loved working with the Customers,Customer satisfaction was GREAT feeling. To assist and/or guide a Customer that may not know what they need was very rewarding.
