The New York Daily News is hiring for Mailroom Technicians to join their Manufacturing and Distribution Department in Jersey City, NJ! See details by clicking here.

They need workers mostly for two to three shifts per week, however hires will be able to work more on a per diem basis, as needed.

Pay starts at $15 per hour and duties include:

  • Feed Insert Ads into a hopper feeder on roll stream

  • Operate hand jacks and electric pallet jacks

  • Lift and remove completed newspaper bundles (20 - 50 pounds) from running conveyor onto pallet

  • Monitor hopper feeders, tylines, and other miscellaneous mailroom equipment for malfunctions and report for needed repairs

  • General cleanup of debris caused during production
