I wanted to work for MArriott because as a little boy, my dad always talked very highly of the company. In the 1960's he told me stories of how the Marriott owned these Diners called the Hot Shops. He was a short order cook for them and a curb hopper as well. When we vacationed, he would stay no where else but at the Marriott. We came to love them because of their attention to detail and we always had clean rooms. Every time we needed extra towels or any other amenity, the staff at Marriott would always oblige us. They would give us directions to local events and restaurants. It just made a lasting impression on me as a kid, so now that I'm an adult and have experienced staying and working for the Marriott, I wanted to pursue my career back there when I move to New Jersey.

I've been a Steward ( Dish Washer ) for 5 years counting now.

Overall at specifically Sawgrass Marriott, it's a very great environment to work and I have 0 things negative or sour to say about the co-workers who work in the environment.
