Not having to generate work. All I had to do was show up and perform requested massages.

I currently work at massage envy as a licensed massage therapist for about 10 years now! Then yesterday, I interviewed with The Wood House and accepted the position. Today, I was at training, out of blue, I received a call from the company of my dreams, “The Waldorf Astoria”for an interview! I’m so nervous about the interview tomorrow? Does anyone have advice about what I should do?

Good people to work for

Wonderful place to work! Perfect for students graduating from massage school. Great hours, flexibility, and the oppurtunity to gain experience in massage techniques.

Was great the owner and manager were very friendly & welcoming.

My experience has helped me grow as a Massage therapist and they have been great at working with me since I can't Massage currently at holding my position for me. I love the staff and we are all treated as family there.

Massage Envy as a whole is a great Company to work for, however if you are thinking about joining their team, I would suggest not applying at the Chapel Hill clinic, for a number of reasons. The most important reason and the reason I left Massage Envy is because the building is contaminated with a highly toxic chemical called trichlorethylene, which the owner never disclosed to any employees or clinic members. My health was affected repeatedly without knowing why until osha was called in by another employee at the clinic. The second reason is the level of professionalism at the Chapel Hill clinic is extremely pour (management). The manager at this clinic is not qualified to be managing professional therapists being a high school drop out with no equivalent pursued she is also in active addiction and has employees hold cash for her drugs to give to people coming into the clinic for money she owes to them for her drugs. She also tells all FDA's all employees person business and also creates hostel work place by talking about employees to other employees. It is just an all around unprofessionally ran clinic and the owner is oblivious to everything because he is unreachable to everyone except for the manager. So if you are thinking of becoming a part of the Massage Envy team it is a great company to work for with good chance to advance in the company, as long as it is not the Chapel Hill location.
