The job itself wasn't bad it's easy learning and you do the same thing all the time it's fast paced and a Good work atmosphere the only thing with the store that I worked at was being short staffed and management was very disrespectful

That you met different personalities you met some difficult people and you met some great people but what I like the most you have to keep calm and work hard and that’s big for me cause I used to have one of the baddest attitude now I done work with people who attitude worst then yours and you handle it it’s like joy

I was working for McDonalds Therapy. I enjoyed the people and the hours were perfect. Then Covid 19 hit. They layed me off because there was no patients coming in and the therapist told the boss that whatever needed done she could do so I really did not need to be there. She could take care of what patients there was and everything else. A week later the office called and the manager told me that they were going to eliminate my job. So I did not have a job to go back too, when things got better and place started back up again. I have been looking for something to do ever since. Then in April of this year the store my husband had been working for about 14 years went broke and closed the store. So he is looking for work also. We are both on unemploy-ment but how far does that ago and it will end in September.

I worked for 3 generations of owner operators that invested in Mcdonald's. They are amazingly hands on owners. They worked beside you for better or worse and made the job more than a job, it's a family. The fast pace is an addiction. You strive to see how fast you can get it done and get it done with happy customers.

I felt proud to work at my location after I had work towards solving some problems that were within the store…. A lot of favoritism and sexual harassment of minors and adults , that always went unreported or went on hush…. For the 6 months I had work there I had a partner/for worker tell help me, come to find out when I saw actions of sexual harassment I tried to address the GM, had a hour and half talk with him, come to find out the person I was reporting that did sexual harassment was his nephew , so I had to walk into work every day, well months later GM got transferee , and later got the nephew out , but they both now work with other again to prey on other females workers that get trapped…. That being said I’ve got to work side by side with the hardest worker I know, and I still work hard for her, she’s my romodels and beautiful person… the store is better now but I do cherish and care about the workers , we accomplished something great and for that the challenges were there and we did well. Thank you for your time… to who this reaches , they need to put more effort into the sexual harassment cases. But I had fun working and learned a lot. If you know anyone that works in McDonald’s, take time to ask them if everything is okay.

You are on your feet for about 7 hours on average. The only time I sat down was when I was on break which really wasn’t that bad unless you were in back booth(the window that takes the cash). Only because I don’t like standing in one spot for too long. But being in the front is really busy usually which can make your day go by super fast. Customers can be rude but it is up to you to hold composure. And you also have to keep in mind that it is FAST food so everything you do for the most part is being rushed. Not my favorite job but it was okay for the most part.

I will never work there again. You are on your feet the whole shift. You pay for half of your meal. Its not like it was back in the day. Their turnover rate is high. I was a manager. Its like babysitting.

What made me stay at #McDonald's was the friendliness and chance of a better future. The crew, managers, and customers were nice and so was the paycheck.

How bout you? Why did you stay at McDonald’s if you worked there?
