I loved the benefits, highly disliked the boss. I was illegally let go being gone for military training, but I was so tired of working there I let it go without raising any attention. I was paid $9 an hour to clean courts (which can take hours depending how many you clean), clean bathrooms, and clean the lobby area, and expected to close completely by 9 (I closed nights). Making it borderline impossible, because only one front desk person works at a time, meaning you have to take care of costumers, and clean the facility by yourself. I closed with two of the busiest nights of the week. The computer system is all jacked up, completely screwing over costumers. Not to mention the jacked up babaolat ambassadors deal. It's supposed to be $350, but includes taxes, and shipping. Adding up close to $450 without the costumers knowledge, completely screwing them over. My boss would consistently make mistakes, and blame me for them. For example, I worked Mondays, and Thursdays. Someone made a purchase for a family membership on a Wednesday. But rather than adding the membership to their account it was charged, making their balance -$150. So now they're getting billed to pay that. My boss works Tuesdays-Thursday mornings (taking hours always from employees), and had the balls to blame me for it, and make it a big deal. My manager then did a background check finding out it was my boss making these kinds of mistakes, and putting the blame on me. I still made mistakes, but to find out most of my "mistakes" was actually my boss, is very frustrating and unfair. I enjoyed working with my manager, as she's very understanding of a new employees mistakes, and she did a phonominal job teaching, and helping me understand the mistakes I made. It's a very stressful environment when my boss was around. and it's an underpaying job in my opinion. I apologize if I sound like I'm complaining, but these are issues, I, my manager, and recent employees have encountered working with a sorry excuse for a boss.
