My experience working at Milwaukee County Transit System taught me to always be considerate. I’ve met people of all kinds. Some were quiet, and of course the loud. Some were kind, then there was the rude. So I don’t judge a person and I don’t treat anyone differently from another. I was there to do a job of customer service. So I helped the people as much as I could. I made sure I smiled and made the ride as pleasant as possible. If the person was short with fare I didn’t frown upon them I allowed them the same respect as other riders. I made sure no one was around trying to catch the bus before I left. Definitely made sure they had enough time on their transfers. I use to be a rider. Some of things I experienced as a rider, was never happening to my customers. Sometimes I felt like a bartender giving advice or my thoughts on things if asked. But never let your guard down, there are people out there that you have to be aware of. Glad I didn’t experience that part of it but I stayed aware! #aboutmyjob
