I didn't have much job experience at the time working for him. He was nice and and always do kind and helpful. I visited him almost everyday and we talked. One day he told me about how has employee did something really bad and he fired him (forgot what it was he did) so I offered to work there instead. It was a simple enough job. It was a beauty store, small and since I've been there enough time, I knew I would be good help. So I came in opening shift. I think around 9-10 am and it was part time i believe. Cleaned, wiped down, organized the shelves. When I was working there it wasn't many customers and it was slow. But my boss was very kind and understanding. So I learned quickly. Ultimately I had to leave since I had to move but it was a nice job to "get my feet wet" in the working force. I was proud to work for him and having a job though. Miss him and the job. Lol

I felt proud to work for #Mr. Appliance when...

Hated working for Mr. Appliance. The owner and his wife felt the need to spy on their employees every minute of the day, and had minimal knowledge of the work involved. Weekly close scrutiny had to be employed to ensure that your paycheck was correct and understandable as to pay rate and deductions. Incorrect assumptions by the owners were rampant and completely erroneous. Owner could not even be civil to my wife, nor even acknowledge her presence at my home.
