Not to bother being a carrier. Dave Elfird doesn't care about the carriers. There has been 10 carriers (including me) in 3 months! 2 of the carriers were fired when they were hospitalized from pneumonia and being in a seriously bad car crash. Most of the money goes toward gas. If a holiday comes up all the pay checks are 2 weeks or more late. I was fired for going to the ER and finding out I have tumors. Plus Dave has broken so many of the rules and often delivers papers in the afternoon. If there was a $100 a week gas card and allowed to go to the ER when needed, that would go a long way to helping a lot of the carriers. I have been unsuccessful in finding another job. I had loved mine, took pride in it, my depression had disappeared and I had a sense of accomplishment every day that I finished my route. My depression is back. I will be homeless if I can't find work. Not to mention dead because I can't pay for treatment.

This place does not care about the carriers. The district manager I had was unqualified for the job. He was horrible about returning texts and phone calls.

If they like to drive & work at night this is a great place to work
