Working within the plasma industry can be very stressful due to high volumes of donors with minimal staffing available to process those donors. There are a number of strict regulations to follow and processes can sometimes be changed regularly. The donors are not always understanding when they are not suitable for the donation process, so you could potentially be yelled at and called all sorts of profanities. Everything is not all bad though, as you are constantly meeting new people, learning new things, and can go home knowing that the job you do to collect plasma is helping many people to live healthier lives because of the products derived from plasma donations.
