If your thinking about employment at One Blood coming from a past employee at one blood(4 years in Orlando)as a courier, this job is not for everyone its fast paced and requires you to think what your doing, whether your drawing blood from donors at a branch or working on the mobile buses you must deliver no excuses, the rewards are good the company pays pretty good and there benefit packages are very good ,but make no mistake you have to pay attention, they will train you and there training is very good, mobile buses are tough, crazy hours and high stress, not a job for everyone.if you think that you can slip and slide at oneblood think again, but if you can cut it its quite rewarding.

I don't recall any major mistakes that I made as a courier while working at One Blood,i guess I made a few minor mistakes (Driving infractions) but I tried not to mess up especially with the delivery of Blood and Blood products to area Hospitals.tough job with lots of responsibility, but rewarding in the sense that you are helping others

The most stressful days for me at Oneblood were during Tropical Storm Fay and the Pulse Nightclub shooting as a courier the storm was brutal just getting around to do my job was a nightmare and the emotional impact of the Pulse Nightclub Shooting was tough ,I don't have any idea how many units of lifesaving Blood we delivered to area Hospitals but thank God for all the Donors that lined up to give after that tragedy, thankyou Donors

I worked at One Blood in Orlando for 4 years ,as a courier 2nd shift, weekends,i did not have any arguments with my co workers,i found them to be a great bunch of guys and we all tried to help each other, the courier jobs at oneblood are hard, but I found management to be fair and had no problems with them I am thinking of reapplying again, the benefits are good and the pay is ok.of course it always could be more but all in all its a good company to work for.
