Today, choose to be someone who is part of the solution rather than someone who only complains. #change #fresh #perspective

Our community in Boston lost a beautiful young soul this week. My family is gutted and praying for this very young lady and her family. Why am I sharing this here? Because, selfishly, these tragedies act as reminders to keep things in perspective. And I felt compelled to share that reminder with my friends here on Jobcase. We were born into this world to love. to care about others. to help. Yes we have built on top of this our own constructs of wealth, and vocation career, etc. But if you have healthy loved ones around you during the holidays - you are rich indeed.
So as we rush to get projects done, budgets met, careers on track. As we try to balance the rush of holiday pressures as they meet year-end pressures. As we deal with shortcomings of expectations on reflection or trepidation about tasks that lie ahead. Please remember to ENJOY the real joy of the holidays. Appreciate the real treasures in your life - your healthy loved ones as they gather together. And remember the rest of the pressures is just noise in the end. Keep it in perspective. Squeeze those kids tight. Enjoy all your loved ones. And really let yourself enjoy the love that is here in this season - despite any man-made pressures. (and if you can, please also remember in your prayers those families that cant enjoy that richness this season because of loss or health challenges they face).
All the best... #Perspective

If you haven’t seen this essay about “your life in weeks” I suggest you check it out. Constructive and thought provoking. https://waitbutwhy.com/2014/05/life-weeks.html #weeks #planning #perspective
