While Shannon owned the Sweetwater Clinic they were great employers, and treated employees well. In 2016, Shannon sold the clinic to Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital. Prior to 2013 we physicians owned the clinic, but sold it to Shannon when Obama care was passed.
There was a surgeon in town who was not good at his craft. Another physician and I had the hospital Peer Review committee pull all of records for review. The committee agreed that there was a problem, but only decreased a very few procedures that he could perform. In retrospect, I should have reported him to the Board.
As above. Great place to work. Friendly, generous boss, dedicated to patients.
