A manager yelled at me.
my first week when I just started to get to know everything. After about 2 moths of being there with no call ins or sick days as well as them cutting my hours down to 3 days a week when I worked everyday beforehand they decided to fire me on the spot when there was no way I could make it in one morning. See life gets hard as people know and as of now im in a rough spot, im living out of a motel with no car paying $275 a WEEK and I called every coworker and asked if I can carpool with them and all told me no, 1 coworker told me it would be an inconvenience to pick me up for work because he was going to be having breakfast right next to pizza ranch!! I talked to my manager t the time and told her I did everything I can and she told me it would be my 1st write up. I was okay with it because it says in the hand book you need 3 write ups in 6 months to be fired. I got a text from my manager again later in the day saying im being let go because of my "lack of work and failure to show up the 1 day I was scheduled for that entire week. I DID MY JOB AND THEN SOME. my boyfriend is the person who got my the job in the first place and he even saw I busted my butt since no one else did.1 coworker was dipping her fingers in the melted butter and cinnamon and eating it. she ate meat from the make table all day, never wore gloves while touching all these food items and threw fits almost everyday. I BELIEVE I WAS FIRED BECAUSE THE MANAGER DIDINT LIKE ME SINCE I WORKED HARDER THAN SHE DID AND HER MOM (THE OWNER) SAW IT TOO. P.S ONE OF YOUR COWORKERS BRINGS DRUGS TO WORK AND PEOPLE STEAL OUT OF THE REGISTER. i was mainly the only person that did their job there except for the people in the back in dish. im sorry for my rant but the management at pizza ranch in portage is complete shit,
