With 22 employers, hundreds of attendees and a few hours - its important to spend your time right at the jobfair - AND to make that great first impression. spending a bit of time on preparation is key. Heres the basics:
make sure to have at least 50 copies of your resume. (resumes generate automatically off of your jobcase profile - so just use our wizard to fill out your profile and hit 'generate resume' if you need a new one).
have your elevator pitch ready and practiced (i.e. if you were on an elevator ride with someone for about 6 floors, what would you say to explain who you are and what you are looking for in your next opportunity - you'll say this a lot at a jobfair right after 'hello" so be sure to practice it out loud before you go).
pick 5 of the companies attending and focus on them. Of course you can interview and stop by and talk to more, -but look up what your favorite5 are like on Jobcase company pages (glassdoor and indeed are good resources too - we incorporate those in our pages to make it easy for Jobcasers). Try to have 1-2 questions for each of these top 5 that are specific to them and their employer-employee relationship. Does Kroger provide upward advancement potential for entry level employees who do great work? Does Amazon help with transportation if its hard for me to get to Hebron KY (answer: they do right now!!!) Does UPS provide training and/or internal paths toward new positions after the entry level one., etc. The more the questions are about you providing more value to them, the better!
Sell. Remember this is about you selling the best product in the world - you! (or really your working hours) but this is the chance to put your best self forward and connect the dots for them. If its a retail job, your close might be something like "I hope I have the chance to make sure your customers have an awesome experience when they shop' or whatever else you think links between what you think you are good at and what can benefit the company - add value to them! .
Jobcasers are awesome. You are awesome. You got this! Just do a little prep work, and next Tuesday should be a really successful day!

So excited to be coming to Hebron/Cinci area to talk with Jobcasers about succeeding in their worklife. We have a whole team coming in from Boston and friends from Amazon recruitment helping out too.
W are going to talk about managing to success, how to get a job (crazy process these days) and how you can take advantage of all the trends that sometimes seem to work against us - and turn it into your advantage.
Its gonna be a fun, fast-moving, productive session.
Its gonna capture a ton of knowledge we see from watching millions of jobseekers and thousands of companies.
Be sure to ask any questions here over the next 2 days - and then be sure to get there 9:00 Wed morning for a great day!
ps: did I mention free professional photographer for head shots, and a $500 drawing at the end of the day so someone can get a interview wardrobe makeover? Gonna be great!

The teachers that are hard and may look mean, are the ones that care and want you to get a feel of how the real world will be instead of making life easy. Life isn't easy, you must work hard for it to know the game of life.

What should I be prepared to talk about at the Job Interview?

Here's the thing I applied for two companies and a Lowell general Hospital in thought I might get the job because I went to the interviews .I did well with them .but I got two emails saying that ohhh we decided to go with a candidate. But I was pissed I put all that effort into interviews but got turn down. But I'm like know what I can find another job to a different state area .right now I just live in a call Massachusetts and know what else I tried everything.

I'm going to an Amazon Fulfillment Hiring Event next Friday. I already know what to bring I just want to know how I should dress? Should I dress casual or should I just dress up like an interview, what should I do? Can anyone give me some suggestions!!

How much should I learn about a company and the specific job I’m applying for before I go into the interview? My interview is with Target. I know they are a national retail company with stores all over the US. I know cashiers basically scan merchandise and process payments for customers. Is there any other company or position information I should know before the interview?

Hello Does anyone know good phone interview questions and answers have one soon. Thanks

Enjoying the day waiting &preparing for an oppurtunity..like for a hunter who waits till his food comes to him are near him and the hunter who goes in search for the food always within a great distance..I reckon the hunter who waits till the food gets to him will have more energy to search for other food source's..rather than always having to go in search of food.

Several of us have been invited to breakfast with the Division Operations Director. How should I prepare to stand out and leave an impression? Should I be thinking about questions to ask?
