Qorvo is a cut throat environment so prepare for that type of work environment. Mid managers were very nice but very good but senior managers were tough

My boss was on vacation and my son (single dad with no help) had to stay home with my son. He is autistic and connote be left alone so I stayed home for 2-3 days. Senior management got mad as no 'manager' was present for the days I stayed home with my son. I should have hired a sitter and went to work

Shutdown activities. These are activities we (facilities) had to do during Christmas, 4th of July, etc. when plan was shutdown for maintenance and we had to complete all our task before company started back up (usually 1-2 days)

We had one control tech that was lazy, lazy and lazy. Being in charge of security we were under the gun to install badge readers (my control tech responsibility) and he was dragging his feet so I pushed him to meet deadline and he blew up and went to our boss to complain that I was pushing him too hard.

I loved the people. I was site operations manager and had to deal with everyone in the plant and the people were really good to me and gave me all the cooperation in the plant

I have always loved my job at Qorvo. I had a great Supervisor and loved the work I did there

Qorvo is a good place to work at but it's things some people there would not understand but that's at any job
