Today, being in your 50s or 60s is certainly not too late to put new habits into practice because you may have another 10, 15, or 20 years to go – and they may as well be good ones. ..

Is 50 too old to get a new job?

Looking for a job is a job, you post your resume all day, create profiles to post your resume, you follow job leads to post your resume, you call companies to see if they hiring so you hear them say "post your resume", I am all job sites and I know I am qualified for employment but why am I still looking. I have changed my resume a numerous amount of times, I have done mock interviews, took classes on how to ace the perfect interview. What am I missing? What am I not doing correct? So frustrating, why am I not the right candidate for the positions that I apply for? Just venting I am going to continue to "post my resume" just taking a break to get my frustration out. Okay carry on. Have a great day!!!!

I worked for a company for over 15 yrs, and we found out that in a year it will be going overseas, so I started thinking of what can I do, so I paid for school out of my 401K to better myself, since the medical field is in demand I started there, paid to become a medical assistant and finished, did internship and got a Temp job thru UCI medical and now that I hit my 1000 hours they have to separate me and so now I been looking for a job and been on tons of interviews and nothing because of the my experience is only about a year, I feel that it’s not fair, we pay to better ourselves and no one gives us a chance, anyone else feel the same??

I'm starting to feel like employers or not looking at my resume. I'm starting to feel like their seeing me. And saying she look nice let's give her the job. Then I get the interview and I get turned down for being inexperienced. Is there any one having this problem?
