Ok, big deal. I don’t have a job now that emboldens and captures my ingenuity - one where I feel comfortable enough to being able to be heard when it comes to executive decision making. In the history of my work career, the impending doom of a bottom line, bloodthirsty moves to weed out competition and an absolute lack of interest in nourishing the lives of all involved have left me nothing but bewildered about a lot, but have had to work at “cracking thee code.” I have, quite anonymously. Having been vocal in my online writing via blogs and sites and podcasts. …. Loud with disdain and a general lack of interest to participate in a corrupted system [knocks out many of my previously potential positions] - while I remain fully accountable for myself, I don’t have any heavy knocks about why I have yet to find the job that doesn’t feel like a job. Work? Absolutely. Professional. Yes! Educated? Yeah. But to be honest, I know where my best education occurred and I won’t lie and say it was in any particular classroom. My WHOLE experience has led me here to this very moment and maybe someone knows or even has a tingling hunch of someone I remind you of, or would like me to meet. That’s literally the type of lead I need. This type of conversation at least feels it’s on the correct path. If there’s ‘some-one’, then ‘some-one’ will be as much part of the connection as any lead or referral, hmm - I wonder when.
