Hi @Brandon Johnson, I understand your job search might be challenging but it is not impossible. We see lots of members with records sharing successes in truck driving and fast food chains. Feel free to check these employer recommendations to see if there’s any opportunities that fit you the best.

I apologize for that Hard and Harsh No…SWA hasn’t been known to, one has to be able to pass a criminal background check, there’s a lot of moving parts in Aviation as a whole, most of the standards are set Department Of Transportation, there-by excluding a segment of the population.

Look for reentry programs that have relationships with employers and there may be certain programs that will allow you entrance

Hope this helped, stay hopeful and Never Give Up!!!

Look into starting your own business, if “They” say No

AngrySnail735 here and I am seeking advice about the field of logistics and felony friendly employers. Although I would never demand but only humbly ask if they know of any employers that hire felons. I was certified in logistics and received the CLA.( Associates) and the next one of CLT (technicians ) aswell as being licensed for OSHA 10 in general work place safety, forklift licensed, and a crash course in the WMS operating system no certification. Here's the kicker the notable companies here in San Antonio Texas like the brown shorts and ex men they don't hire felons. The brown shirts jersey me around and had been called back 4 times after interviewing me for a few positions but I was unable to score due to background. Now I do have a lengthy record as I started super young but I'm 40 now. I did get a felony #8 three years ago because my county jail released me by accident and I took off only to have the S.W.A.T. team blow the door off my house and beat the stuffing right outta me. Mom and pop places will hire me but even with certifications and licensed I only get to 10-12$ a hours seems less than someone without certification. I put the violin away months ago and am having trouble finding info on who is friendly and who is not. Any help would be appreciated greatly and will of course pay it forward in the first opportunity.

So unfortunately my background isn't the greatest. I had problems with addiction, but I've been clean for almost 5 years, and still have trouble landing a job. Not so much getting the job but after undergoing a background check they revoke there offer of employment. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks. # #advice #jobsearch

Be about 10-15 minutes to work every day, to dress in the proper dress code and to have proper Hygiene and to never ever be late.
