Hi Anthony , Just a suggestion if you have enough work history that will cover that gap then leave it off .

I want to send hiring managers my cover letter and resume but I don’t want my info to end up in their junk mail.

Hi everyone,
After I fixed my resume, I started getting 2 phone interviews a day. Before, I used to get 0 phone interviews.
I was job hunting 8 months ago, and I read a lot of internet articles on how to write a winning resume.
This is the best advice on writing a resume I've seen,
It's a 15 minute youtube video.

When you apply to a job online, you have just a 3% chance of getting a call for an interview. Here are 4 big reasons why your resume isn't seen by the hiring manager: http://www.inc.com/jt-odonnell/4-major-reasons-your-resume-gets-thrown-out.html

functional, chronological, or other??, I’m planning to attend a job fair next week and I don’t know how I can arrange my resume to stand out among multiple recruiters representing various service industries.

Hi Danielle, You can actually generate a resume here on Jobcase! First, you will need to completely fill out your profile. Once you've done that, on the right side, click on the "Generate Resume PDF." Then you should have a file you can use. Let me know if you need more help!

Hi Danielle: You came come right here to Jobcase! If you click on the My Info section of this page (at the top right), you'll be taken to your profile page. From there, you can edit your profile and follow the prompts to fill it out. These instructions are designed to help you create a resume, which you can use on Jobcase or on other sites (just click "Generate a Resume" to download a copy). Hope this helps!!

Where can I get a full lesson in up or downloading application

I have 20 years of experience and it’s impossible for me to keep my resume under 4 pages. I read that resume shouldn’t be longer than 2 pages. I don’t want to delete sections that shows I have an experience. What should I do?

Been looking for a job in San Diego for 5 months now and haven't received even one 'face to face' or phone interview apart from a job recruiter I met recently. And I usually do well in face to face interactions once I get past the resume selection and got that reaffirmation from this US job recruiter as well. The one thing the recruiter did say was that I don't have any US experience. Is this really a deciding factor for recruiters even after having 10 years of engineering experience and education from the UK from a very recognizable company and an equivalent 4.0 GPA degree? Me and my wife are thinking of calling it quits after another month or so. Is this a reasonable amount of time or is this being too hasty?

I am refreshing my resume. I have being reading conflicting advices on the internet. Some people says to be creative with the formatting, layout and fonts of the resume and other people says don’t, keep is simple. Is anyone know if it’s worth making my resume fancy and pretty?
You could include it but state that during your probation period, they chose to go a different route and hire someone with more experience. A mutual parting of ways with no hardship feelings.
