SCAMS! FRAUD, and More!
Dear Community,
Over the past couple of weeks I have noticed under people comments post like the one below! This is a SCAM! It is Sad that there are people out there that try to take advantage of people who are looking for work or loss their job? I have copied and pasted a copy of what it is I am talking about below this post. This is how it works! You click on the link and they ask for your personal information to mail you a check. A few days later you receive a check for $1200.00 -$2500.00, they tell you to deposit it in your personal checking account and withdraw X amount of dollars. You mail it to them Via Gift Cards, Green Dot etc... 24 - 48 hours later you are receiving a call or letter from your bank telling you the check bounced and has INF funds. You are now out the original amount of the Check! Community Please Take Notice to this SCAM! Do Not Fall Victim To This SCAM! If You Have Fallen Victim to this Scam you can Contact Your Local Authorities and Report It?
Lately you might be seeing post like this under a topic! Donna Alise Molloy Earn $600 weekly Mystery Shopper position available, click on the link below to Apply: https://www.powr.io/plugins/form-builder/view/23434479?mode=XXXX This is an example of Fraud! Please be aware of this post?
Mystery Shopping Companies Never Send People a Check to Cash and keep your payment? Nor Do They Ask You to Send any money? If you see these post AVOID Them and Report it to The Jobcase Staff! The other day I was contacted by a person telling me he would send me a check to do the same? You have to be careful if you send them your address? They Now Know Where You Live! Protect Yourself by reporting it to the Local Authorities for this reason... #scam #MyThoughts #workfromhome #hiringevents #jobsearch #application

Every post I have put up for this scam has been taken down so here is my last attempt. If you receive an unsolicited job interview request from Sari Harvey it is a scam #stressful

If you receive a message from Sari Harvey representing themselves as being from United Healthcare Group this is a scam!! I believe this person looks at your post wanting specific jobs or jobs you may have had and sends you a message offering you a position at an enormous pay. They request that you download Google Hangouts for the “interview” which is a joke! This would be considered the easiest interview you have ever had. The they offer you $25-$35 per hour working from home because they are in the process of building a site near you which is to be completed within the next 6 months. They then tell you that they will be providing you with a laptop and phone to use while working and a list of software that you will be using. Then they ask that you pay $100 or maybe more as partial payment for the software but that you will be reimbursed for this as well as receiving a sign on bonus. Oh and by the way they want you to pay for this software with a Walmart prepaid card....skrrr what??? Are you kidding me? First of all software is loaded onto a laptop from websites directly from the laptop. Why the hell would you be expected to do this if you do not even have possession of this item. I reported this immediately and a JobCase representative took the report and assured me this was taken care of then this afternoon I got another message from this person like they had not sent me this before. I once again reported this and blocked the sender from sending me any more messages. Since I have gotten 2 messages in 2 days it makes me think that this person gets more than $100 per day with this scam so look out. I understand that it seems hopeless looking for a job and it is appalling that a person would prey on the desperate in order to scam what maybe the last money that they have. I hope there is a special place in hell for this person. They did not get any money from me I can assure you but I have seen stories on here they seem as if they may have. Don’t be the next victim. If it seems to good to be true then it probably is. If the job description would s vague and the pay is high the beware. Ask questions, research the company. If you post the unsolicited job offer on here a representative from JobCase will get with you and let you know if this is a scam or a legitimate job.

Has anyone else gotten an unsolicited job interview request from United Healthcare? I got a personal message on JobCase from United Healthcare. It instructed me to download Google Hangouts for instructions from a person and the salary is unbelievable. Just wanted to see if this was real or someone trying to get me to download an app as part of a pyramid scam.

Well, the work at home job was a scam. I researched and found that they can be having you package illegal goods, and get you to send them. If you have your address on there when the police come to your door, its you that will take the fall. The crooks get to keep their stuff. Even if you take all ready packaged items and place your address on them, you are liable. These crooks are clever and they look for opportunities to use people who need jobs. Fake sites, reviews, phone interviews, it sounds so real, but it is a clever SCAM. DON'T GET INVOLVED IF YOUR GUT SAYS STOP!! Always, check it out before you agree. Watch out for jobs like Warehouse Operators needed, most likely they are scam jobs. Astoria, is only one as there are many others out there just waiting for a bite.

I was contacted by a recruiter, for an online data-position through hangouts. After going through the interview process for 60 minutes; I was told that I was hired after that, they told me to buy an IPhone ll which was listed or around 700-1,000 dollars and send it to their IT dept so it can be reprogrammed for data I need to have in order to work online. I just told the recruiter that I was unemployed! After the person cut off from hangouts and stated that I should check around cheaper price. Also, I forgot to mention that the recruiter said that "Whatever you pay you will be reimbursed on your first check". Does this sound right? I would like some feedback. Thanks

I have been targeted by this jobseeker scam twice I am posting so that you jobseekers are aware of this scam. If anyone sends you an email that says the interview is online and using google hangouts that is a red flag it is probably a scam.Dear Applicant,

You have been considered and scheduled for an online interview to discuss more about the position offerred. You are required to set up a Hangout app (www.hangouts.google.com) and download the app from the app store i.e for smart phone and for PC .

Guys, please stop messaging me trying to get to know me personally. I did not sign up for jobcase to find love, to date or to have other personal conversations! I came to jobcase to look for work, inspire, uplift/empower others and to give ADVICE. I would greatly appreciate if you only message me STRICTLY about business not pleasure. Thank you!
Btw, Is anyone else having this issue?

Has anyone heard of, or dealt with a company called Dynata? I interviewed with them but the entire process seems sketchy and wildly disorganized.

This job is posted looking for admin help. You will not be able to speak to the 'owner' only chat via google hangouts. Job seems to be an elaborate scam. Either to finally get your SS# or bank account or free work. Beware. Devil's in the details, and this 'guy' is full of shady details.
