Good Morning,
Over the past few days I received a few emails stating I got the Job! The funny thing is I never applied for them! These are similar to one’s I received in the past with just different names and emails. On my Next Post I will share an example of what I am talking about. During this time of year when looking for a job people who do this know there is a higher volume of hiring going on with the holidays. This is a perfect time to prey on innocent people who are truly seeking employment. Do Not Fall Victim to this Scam! I know people who has clicked on the link or replied to the email only to wake up with there bank accounts wiped out. Also there are others out there that are telling you they are going to request a Google Code for you to retrieve and give them? By doing this you allow them to open a google phone number under your account. In turn they committed fraud and police track the scams back to you! Please take your time when reading your emails and only reply to the ones you know you applied or requested information to? This can be a costly mistake in the future if you fall victim to one of these scams! #scammed, #jobsearch, #employment, #application, #beware,

Sales, accounting, banking, makes the most money in my opinion....no experience, no degeee, neither did I when I first started. If you don't have college experience, no need to worry, start off in small retail jobs like metro pcs, Verizon, cricket cell phones and etc to build up your sales background. Work at each retail store for at least a year or half a year.Even if you are a independent sales distributor is good. While these jobs have terrible pay...it looks AMAZING on resume. Have a resume that you have worked with customers either face to face or on phone. Then combine them together....if you have 3 years or more working in sales AND customer service or just inteacting with customers period.start applying for those high paying jobs like I did. You can now make $18-$25hr or more with no college background..Experience is Key!! Not College!!...most important...self educate yourself in sales vocab words and work process. Good luck!

Someone posing as a company called Advanced BioDesign has been recruiting and "interviewing" me via google hangouts. We have not spoken on the phone or via video. Only text back and forth. The people they are pretending to be are real, but I assume that the actual people do not know that their names are being used for this scam. They "selected" me for a job and "offered" it to me, although they did not leave any room for me to accept or decline. They say they will send me start up money to purchase the software I will need to work remotely. A friend has informed me that this is a new scam where they send you a fake check that once cashed, messes your whole life up. I don't know what to make of any of it, or how to verify any of it. If it truly is a scam, I'd like to report them. If not, how can I tell? I desperately need a job and this could be a good fit if it is real. The main thing that made me super suspicious was a personal email from the CEO (or someone posing under his name) about reconnecting with the hiring manager under a slightly different email. I have never received an email of any sort from any CEO, usually they have an assistant or administrator who does that sort of thing. Has anyone encountered this type of scam or anything similar? What should I do?

I had a weird experience of an interview from a fortune 1000 company on Instant messenger on Hangout app. I was initially asked to download the app and connect with someone whose email address was a gmail and not company name . Secondly after a routine screening questions I was given the offer on Instant messenger itself and have been asked to take a call with the Training Manager tomm morning to get my Software training done and have been asked to purchase software from a specific vendor for which they will bear the cost via cheque , and have noted my address to send me the cheque . I am fairly new to US job market and wondering if anybody has had a similar experience before - to me this is super strange??

When you see blatant misspellings like this it kinda makes you wonder who'd be dumb enough to fall for this!

So, I was requested to interview for a customer service vacancy, which will allow me to work remotely. I would love to be able to work primarily from home, so of course I I was thinking, "this is the opportunity that I've been hoping will come my way". The interview wasn't face to face nor over the phone. Rather, the interviewer conducted it all through Google Hang Outs. I found it a bit strange. Nevertheless she hired me and required all my personal info through Hangouts also and that her secretary would be needing it to create my file. I requested that she give me her secretary's name and phone number and that I would connect with her with my info. She said no. She didn't offer another option to me and our communication ceased. Did I just blow a fantastic opportunity with benefits over fear? Or, was it wise to suspect the possibility of foul play. In the last year, I've been robbed 2x, hacked another, lost 2 cars, Just financed one by the skin of my teeth and now it needs a new transmission. In addition I dont do social media well. I'm completely dumb when it comes to communication through social media. I feel embarrassed about it, but it is the truth. I dont want to live constantly feeling as though any opportunity is a scam. I was once an upbeat and optimistic. Now... paranoid pessimist and I hate it. Can anyone relate or validate, or help?

So after the bite from the scam online, I decided to take it easy for a few to get my mind right. Then I changed gears in my employment needs. I need a challenge with a burst of energy and activity with a team as bad ass and awesome as me in skill and talent. One of my favorite burger joints hired me and I found a team that I can work with. I enjoy the smooth flow of team work. I laugh and smile. This is a great start to the beginning of the rest of my life with Tony and the Boys. I'm grateful!

There have been lots of scammers claiming to pay $500 to put decals on your cars! They use well known company names such as BUSCH BEER COMPANY! They claim to be the hiring manager, yet they make a lot of grammatically incorrect statements. They want to send you a check for you to deposit in your bank account, then you are to take out your $500 and give the rest to the guy that puts the decals on your car. There are so many holes in this! First of all there is no BUSCH BEER company, it's ANHEUSER-BUSCH. And second the hiring manager would not also be in charge of advertising! And third, why would they need you to pay the decal guy??? DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!! Their check won't clear, and you'll be left to pay your bank back!!! Look for these people posting under the comment section of our Jobcase postings and report them.
