I worked at Sears in Farmington for over 30,years..closing ..Sears declared Bankruptcy

Owner sold out to retirement, new owners went out of business. I retired before this happened.

Sears was a great place to work. I learned several jobs while I was at Sears the hr specialist position was the best. I was able to help associates and customers in which I enjoyed very much. I was with Sears for 19 years: I loved every minute and wish I were still working there. #management

I was with Sears for over 25 years. It was a great company, but to bad it closed down in August 2020. I was let go. Now I’m searching for another job now. I stayed home to help with my husband illness for over 2 years. I’m ready to try something new 😊

Paycheck.. help customers stocking and sorting clothing's....lunch time

It honestly was a very rewarding experience. I started with zero idea of repair. Trained well, and learned quick. I never repaired anything before sears. To this day I still use what I learned while helping customers in my own day to day appliance repairs now.

It has been years since Sears was a great place to work for. They don't hire full time and let go their long time hard working associates without any notice. Sears is not Sears anymore. Look how many stores they have closed. And they don't pay their bills. They only care about corporate employees; not the employees that work all the time with the customers. The corporate employees should have to spend time with customers and their problems and smile about it. Sears pays squat. Mr. Eddie Lambert ran the company into the ground and doesn't care. #officelife

I loved working for Sears, but in Chicago where I’m from so many stores closed including the one I worked at. So that’s why I left.

I am still employed with Sears! Love working there as a Backroom Associate.
