The day I was hired I wasn't even out looking for a job when I walked into Cassanos on vierity Pkwy in Middletown Ohio. The manager was interviewing two it three people at a time when I just decided to ask for NO reason at all if they were still needing workers, and the manager said yes of course he asked me if I had a interview today I said NO but I want to fill out a application.band he said how fast can you fill it out sivivrushed through it. He basically just wanted me to put down the mist important stuff, so I did , my mistake was not taking my time to read and fill out the app. properly Because I missed a very important question that later cost me my job. That question was have you ever been convicted of a felony, I didn't answer yes or no because I don't even remember seeing the question anyways. That was my biggest mistake.

The biggest mistake I made while working at Moe’s was staying there for as long as I did. The general manager, Mark, and other employees were unprofessional. They were racist and just downright rude and disrespectful. I made the right decision to quit, I just wish I did it sooner and saved myself from hearing my boss and coworkers call me a “lazy nigger” and a “stupid bitch”. The way the Bloomington, IN store is run is completely unprofessional and I would hope that is not how anyone would want their company represented. I do not agree with how this location was being managed, so I quit, but change will not happen unless the company takes action, in which I hope they do.

Hardees is very fun to work at. However, being an employee of Hardees and is all you are. Just 1 employee. Not a team of employees. If you try to do or have any good helpful safe idea for anything they go out of their way to push you out the door. They are the shadiest corporation I have ever worked. They will tell you you have a team behind you but they mean they will push you into the line of fire to save their own skins. (Even on the littlest things) HAVE FUN THOUGH!!

My biggest mistake was caring too much. Thinking if I put my passion and energy into a job that I would excel as the other people I seen who also worked there. I made a mistake thinking I could be myself and still gain a higher position in the company. I am a black woman, I don't fit in, I don't run with the crowd, I have no desire to do what it takes to keep up with people who have placed themselves in the land of "I'm better than you". Meaning certain ethics and picks gain promotion because of who they know, are in bed with or who they feel fit their buck of an ideal worker. I really thought promotion was about hard work, passion and respect for others. No, it's chosen by people unqualified to even exist in the position they themselves are in. I have never been any ones first choice for anything. I have never made it to be a runner up. Still, before I doubt and put down myself as if I am not good enough for the company or I don't have what it takes to be in that crowd, I will fall back. I believe the placement in my life will show forth. I am positive, I am strong, I can get along with people, I will be where I need to be with the people that are for me. I was losing hope, motivation to keep growth in my position of Shift Manager. No matter what... I'm Staying true to me.
